Endoscopic ultrasound(EUS) is a specialized type of imaging which combines endoscopy and ultrasound technology to visualize and evaluate the GI tract and adjacent structures. EUS permits detailed visualization of digestive organs as well as lymph nodes, which helps in diagnosis and staging of GI cancers and other diseases.
